CPD Portfolio Building APP surpasses expectations on initial launch! Creating waves for accessible documentation of learning.

CPDme have been overwhelmed with emails and thank you messages from both existing members of CPDme and new followers on our social media channels following the release of the NEW CPD Portfolio Building mobile app for Apple iPhones at the Emergency Services Show 2013 at the NEC at Birmingham.

The Team who were on hand to explain our vision were overwhelmed at the positive response from new followers who loved the ease of use of the new CPD App.

The team were surprised to see that most people had already downloaded the Apple APP and were easily navigating (and submitting) prior to the team providing a detailed demo on launch day.

Andrew Ormerod the founder of CPDme is currently in Singapore promoting the APP to Health and Social care professionals worldwide. in a statement Andrew said " I really cannot believe how fast the app has been downloaded and how well the initial version has been received. The app was only approved by Apple around 2am on the 25th September and already is has exceeded our forecasted downloads".

The CPD Portfolio Building APP is universally designed for over 100 different Health and/or Social Care professionals to effectively document and maintain an accurate record of learning and professional development. The advantage of using this NEW mobile app is that it features CPD Buddies who act like interactive support workers assisting and promoting a life long learning attitude to recording and maintaining CPD. Similarly the versatility of the app and ability to document 'on the go' or during 'downtime' has received professional praise. This again is to be simplified with future updates to the app via iTunes.

One of the key elements of building this app was our core ethos was to involve lay CPDme members, public users, Health and Social Care staff and varied professionals to suggest, recommend and critique the best method to influence practice in order to create an essential tool for documenting development and encouraging a life long learning attitude to continuing professional development (CPD).

A massive thank you to those who have supported CPDme, this app has been developed for you and will continue to be reviewed to meet your expectations. Thank you.
