Corrie's Julie Hesmondhalgh to present at
the Great British North West Care Show
We are delighted to announce that Julie Hesmondhalgh will be speaking at the Great North West Care Show on 17th April at Salford City Stadium in Manchester.
Julie Hesmondhalgh who plays national treasure, Hailey Cropper in Coronation Street will speak about her thoughts about the sector and the importance of the social care workforce as well as unpaid carers. She will also formally launch the Great British Care Awards, a series of regional awards which celebrate excellence in social care and take place throughout October and November later this year.

The shows, which are free to delegates, have received support from across the sector including the Alzheimer's Society, Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, (ADASS), Carers UK, the English Community Care Association (ECCA) and Ceretas. Delegates will include all areas of the social care sector; voluntary, unpaid carers, private, statutory, commissioners, directors of adult social services, care providers, owners, managers, care workers and also service users from the community.
The shows will provide a unique networking opportunity, linking in with local commissioners, local care association and local service users and are set to be a significant date for the calendar in these regions.
